Danielle Courtier is the Director of Lodestar Administration and Events.
Danielle has worked in the arts, community services, customer service and hospitality industries for over twenty years.
Prior to founding Lodestar, Danielle worked on some of the largest events held in Ballarat as then venue events administrator, including the 3BA Christmas Appeal Fundraising Ball, Rural Press SWUG Conference, CGU Ballarat Business Excellence Awards, Regional Achievers Awards, Commonwealth Games Village (2006), Regional Achievement & Community Awards, Goldfields Tourism Awards, 11th Falcon GT Nationals and the Associated Country Women of the World South Pacific Area Conference.
Danielle has worked for the Athenaeum Club (Melbourne), Grand Sport & Tourer Spares and People Empowered (Ballarat) as an independent contractor.
Since a very young age, Danielle has had an interest in environmental issues. She heard the warnings of the early environmental pioneers as they tried to bring attention to the issues, particularly those looming threateningly on the horizon.
So, Danielle combined her experience in administration and events planning and her passion for sustainability to bring you Lodestar Administration & Events.
Danielle is currently involved in a program called Smartgreen. The program, a series of workshops on entrepreneurial approaches to greening small business, is being delivered by the Centre for Regional Innovation & Competitiveness and the National Centre for Sustainability (University of Ballarat) and will ultimately work towards a Green Cluster Code of Practice. A comprehensive website will soon be established for information dissemination and networking.
